Giant loss to the Rodna Mountains National Park-Romania

The Rodna Mountains National Park, the second largest in the country and the largest protected area in the Eastern Carpathians, has lost, after almost four decades, the “crown”, namely the biosphere reservation status attributed to it in 1979, In Paris, by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – the Man and the Biosphere Program (MAB-UNESCO). The news fell like a lightning.

The news that the Rodna Mountains National Park is no longer a biosphere reserve came last month from the MAB-UNESCO representative in Romania. “I regret that we have lost this status that elevates us above all (of all protected areas – n.r.). I suffer for that. I was reserving the new biosphere, Retezat and the Danube Delta. It was a title. What will happen? Do not lose man or park other than a crown. This is my regret. Nothing can be done because since 1995 it has been agreed how to place the biosphere reserves and how it should look. In Romania, the only one that meets all the requirements of the biosphere is the Danube Delta, “she added. The Rodna Mountains National Park was established by Law 5/2000, and the biosphere reserve, which was Pietrosul Mare, originally stretched over 3300 hectares, after which the Ministry of the Environment extended this status to the entire park. A Biosphere Reserve is a protected natural area which is assigned an international rating and whose characteristics are defined by UNESCO, in accordance with the needs for the purpose of protecting and conserving a natural habitat zone and its specific biological diversity, Program “Man and the Biosphere Program”.

The International Coordination Council of the UNESCO Program “Man and Biosphere” (MAB) met for the first time in 1971, and the concept of Biosphere Reservation emerged in 1974. The program to create a world-wide network of biosphere reserves Was launched two years after the concept proposal. In 1995 the Seville Conference defined for the first time a strategy and developed a statutory framework that supports accepted principles by all states. In the same year, the UNESCO General Conference adopted the Seville Strategy and Framework. In 1932, 183 hectares of alpine hole in the Pietrosu Mare Peak area (2,303 meters) were declared scientific reserve, being the first such reservation in Romania. The importance of the area, but also its beauty, made the protected area later extended to 3,300 hectares. At present there are four scientific reserves in the Rodna Mountains National Park (Pietrosu Mare – 3,547.6 hectares, Piatra Rea – 291 hectares, Corongiş – 614.9 hectares and Bila-Lala – 1.318.2 hectares), plus six reserves (100 hectares), Izhaarele Mihăiesei (61 hectares), Valea Cormaia (50 hectares), Saca Massif (7,8 hectares), Cobăşel Cave (one hectare) and Natural Reserve Izvorul Bătrâna (0.5 hectare). . Over 2,300 hectares of the Rodna Mountains National Park are declared a strictly protected area because of protected areas of great scientific importance, including wild areas where human intervention was extremely low. It is forbidden to carry out any human activities, except for research, education and ecotourism, but also any activity of exploiting natural resources.

Feast Your Eyes on This Beautiful Linguistic Family Tree

When linguists talk about the historical relationship between languages, they use a tree metaphor. An ancient source (say, Indo-European) has various branches (e.g., Romance, Germanic), which themselves have branches (West Germanic, North Germanic), which feed into specific languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian). Lessons on language families are often illustrated with a simple tree diagram that has all the information but lacks imagination. There’s no reason linguistics has to be so visually uninspiring. Minna Sundberg, creator of the webcomic Stand Still. Stay Silent, a story set in a lushly imagined post-apocalyptic Nordic world, has drawn the antidote to the boring linguistic tree diagram.

Also worth checking out is the page before the tree, where she gives a comparison chart of words in the Nordic languages, and illustrates what an outlier Finnish is with the concept of “meow.”

In 2014, Another Empty Nobel Peace Prize

This year’s Nobel Peace Prize was shared between an Indian and Pakistani, at a time when military tensions on the Indo-Pakistani border in Kashmir have reached their deadliest point in over a decade. This, of course calls into question whether the Nobel Peace Prize has again been awarded to make a political statement, especially since it was given to two individuals who, while working for noble causes, did not work together and whose work was only marginally related to the cause of world peace.

The two winners of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize were Pakistan’s Malala Yousafzai and India’s Kailash Satyarthi. Malala, as she is popularly known, needs no introduction. At 17, she is the youngest recipient of the prize. She is the well-known promoter and symbol of female education in Pakistan who was shot by the Taliban in 2012 for campaigning for the right of girls to attend school. Satyarthi, who is 60, has been a longtime crusader against child slavery. His organization, the Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Child Movement) has been credited with saving thousands of children from forced labor and abuses.

Unfortunately, the Nobel Peace Prize, unlike some of the science-oriented Nobel Prizes, has totally lost sight of its original purpose and has instead become a vehicle for the Nobel committee to make political statements or promote social causes. Nobody can deny that the causes that Satyarthi and Malala stand for are good, important and mostly uncontroversial. Yet, the selection of these individuals, and of many individuals in the recent past, seems to deviate from Alfred Nobel’s wish that the Peace Prize be given to someone who pursued the promotion of peace, which is the lack of war. According to Alfred Nobel, the prize ought to be givento the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”

And yet, according to the Nobel committee, this year’s prize was awarded jointly to Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.” This was not a joint struggle between the two individuals and was not coordinated, as they worked on different aspect of children’s rights. These two individuals did not work with each other and did not necessarily work towards a common cause. They did nothing in particular to promote peace and “fraternity between nations.”

Leaving that aside, it hardly seems fair to compare their work. Malala, while being an important symbol, has hardly done anything noteworthy in the past few years other than making speeches. It is hard to say she has actually done anything that merits such an award. Unfortunately she seems to be rapidly on her way to becoming another commercialized symbol who makes a lot of speeches from exile and is disassociated with the situation on the ground in her home country. On the other hand, while Satyarthi has been campaigning to end child labor in India for decades, the problem is often exaggerated in order to gain funds from NGOs. Moreover, it is a problem that is extremely complicated, as children must often work to make ends meet for their families and are not always exploited. It is also a problem that is going away on its own gradually through social change and increased schooling and wealth. No matter how one looks at the problem of child labor though, it is obviously not one that fits the requirements of the Nobel Peace Prize. Surely there are many more noteworthy individuals or statesmen in South Asia or the rest of the world that are more deserving of the prize.

On the whole, neither Malala nor Satyarthi have done anything worthy of the prize. On the other hand, neither of them deserve to be condemned and we wish them the best of luck in furthering their causes. However, the rationale for both of these individuals jointly receiving the prize smacks of the committee’s attempt to make a political statement. While Malala was a frontrunner for several years, the committee openly admitted that it chose Satyarthi to try to make a point. The chairman of the committee said: “What we are saying is that we have awarded two people with the same cause, coming from India and Pakistan, a Muslim and a Hindu. It is in itself a strong signal.”

Although Satyarthi and Malala have spoken by phone and agreed to invite the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan to their award ceremony, it is unclear if this possible meeting will do much to further peace between India and Pakistan. Malala will not be able to stop the Taliban or other groups, such as Boko Haram, that suppress the rights of women. And Satyarthi and Malala jointly receiving the Nobel Peace Prize won’t have any impact on the conflict between India and Pakistan because it is driven by underlying strategic, political, and military factors that cannot be solved by a prize.

However, these  strategic problems can eventually be solved by statesmen. This fact itself shows why awarding the prize to symbolic individuals is pointless and counter to the Nobel Peace Prize’s purpose. Ultimately the individuals who actually receive the prize should be those who truly take steps to end conflict.

7 wonders of the seven continents – geological

covmicWill cease it, ever, Nature to surprise us with its wonders? Probably not, since he had almost five billion years to embody the unique splendor and still has not stopped the process. Natural Wonders of the Earth are almost endless, but we will, this time, on each single geological magnificence of each of the seven continents of the planet.

Show arches, Utah, USA, North America

Arches National Park is located near the town of Moab, Utah, in the western United States. The place is recognized nationally and internationally, especially in the region called the Devil’s Garden, thanks to a large number of stone and sandstone arches, formed by erosion. Some of these arches disappear through erosion to subsidence, but always some new form to take their place.

01-1The number of known and visited arcade is estimated between 900 and 2,000, and the highest is up to 88 meters in the dry air of the desert of Utah. The park occupies an area of 309 km ², the region being declared a natural monumentin 1929 and National Parkin 1971. SPOON gradually and steadily drifting sand and rare desert storm, over thousands and tens for thousands of years, are a testament arches, walls and shifting in her steadfastness, the size of Earth’s geological in full motion.

Salt Desert, Bolivia, South America

When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans on the Moon Passing on July 20, 1969, one of the first sights that their eyes have met the following to Earth, Salar De Uyuni was kid. As the Earth rotated, the two were probably captivated by a piece of white stretched along the lower part of South America, which he initially thought a glacier. It was actually the Bolivian Salar de Uyuni desert, little known, but spread over an area of approximately 8,000 square kilometers covered with cacti, rainwater lagoons and especially ten billion tons of salt. Since then, the field of salt remained a largely forgotten corner, of one of the most remote and inaccessible plateaus of the world; a destination for hikers wandering the Chilean border, located far from the Bolivian capital, La Paz.

It is a unique view, surreal, an empty white field is intainde unbounded. During the rainy season, an impressive optical illusion occurs when water that forms on the surface of salt reflects the sky like a mirror. Nobody lives in the heart of the desert. First, there is vegetation and salt poisoning every drop of water from the surface. Over the plateau there was no sign of industry or development, only sporadic strings outwards brown huts whose poor indigenous families sheltering small room with sunburned skin, living here for generations. However, at the edge of the plateau of salt, Bolivian government give slowness as a factory. It is a mine whose objective consists in extracting the precious liquid in salt crust. When first removed from the soil, the liquid looks like mud. But after being left in the desert sun, the water evaporates, leaving a yellowish mineral bath, which can be easily confused with wholesale olive oil: this is lithium, the lightest of all metals on Earth and hidden power behind our new tech lives.
Eye of the Sahara, Mauritania, Africa

Known as the structure Rich, this bizarre formation circular-like an eyeball, the lands west of the Sahara, was widely unknown until astronauts orbiting the planet have not thoroughly investigated what appeared to be a huge eyes that watched them on Earth. Considered at first a meteorite crater, formation with a diameter of 50 kilometers could not be anything but a rocky outcrop produced by erosion or volcanic dome, a geological artifact Maur Adrar Desert in the middle.

Newest space missions use it as a landmark, adventurer enthusiasts SUVs consider it place to play” and researchers still debate on the origins of his. A meteor impact theory does not explain the flattening of the floor crater” so widely accepted explanation remains erosion, which would be peeledgradual layers of rock, creating the current shape similar to that of the interior of an onion. In totally surprisingly, there is even a kind of complex, a hotel in the middle of Structure Richie. Nothing luxurious, but adequate tourists and travelers unfussy reaching the western Sahara desert.
Gateway to Hell, Namaskaro, Iceland, Europe

Iceland geographical miracles abound in immense. Namaskaro Pass, located north of Lake Myvatn, with the hot thermal water of the country, is one of them. Crossing Mount Námafjall, at an altitude of 410 meters, it houses a huge transient crater populated by steam springs vierbinti called Hverarond or Hverir. Here you can admire a number of furnaces volcanic smoke, pools” of mud volcanoes noroisi all seemed to boil with endless energy. Namaskaro gained notoriety mainly because sulphurous mud springs called Solfatara, and steam springs called furnaces.

Although it is hard to find a spring of pure water, drinking in this beautiful Icelandic geothermal site, beauty and color of minerals defies comparison. Gigantic size shock mud craters and parking, accommodation and meals can be found in the decorations of nearby Grytubakki. Another detail that impresses Namaskaro is total lack of vegetation. It is a logical feature of the place, but impressive. Constant emission of smoke and sulfur made sterile and acid soil here, inappropriate maintenance of any form of flora and fauna. Not be neglected any potential harmful effects of these substances on humans. It is recommended even protect the face and nose with a mask or a scarf and attention walking. Ironically, if we think the name cool” Iceland is one of the most active countries in terms volcanic. One of the strongest and first volcanic events in history modenra, the 1783 eruption of the Laki volcanic system caused the death by starvation of up to 25% of Iceland’s population and led to the loss of most of the wildlife the country.
Reed Flute Cave, Guilin, China, Asia

Has existed for over 180 million years old and was discovered after more than 1,000 years. Located five kilometers northwest of the city of Guilin, Reed Flute Cave or Nature Art Palace is a bright and colorful cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. The cave got its name from the green reed which grows at the entrance, where people used to made flutes and whistles. Inside the caves eroded by water reveals the spectacular world of huge varieties of stalactites, limestone pillars and rock formations created by storing salt of carbonic acid.

Artificial colored light-flooded, reopened geological wonders public visits in 1962, offers its fantastic performance in many variations over the 240 meters that he through the underground. Visiting the cave takes about an hour. And, according to Chinese custom, each format there is a legend or poetic name such as Crystal Palace, Dragon Pagoda, Virgin Forest, Flower and Fruit Mountain. The story behind each name is always a fascinating one. Crystal Palace of the Dragon King is one of the large rooms of the cave, which can support up to 1,000 people and has been used as a shelter against air raids during the Second World War. The interior walls are about 70 inscriptions engraved which is said to be travel stories and poems of the Tang Dynasty, who turned in time to cave into a place of pilgrimage. It was built especially around the cave, a park with pavilions stylish helesteuri and bridges, plants and gardens.
Jewels Devil, Australia

In the genesis of Australian Aborigines, Rainbow Serpent shaped the Earth and then retired to a point in the eastern Kimberleys region where rainbow intertwine with the ground, and he lay eggs. These were fossilized and became what the natives call Karlukarlu and the rest of humanity knows as the Devil Jewels. Because of this legend, the Devil Jewels Reserve has spiritual significance and is a sacred site for the indigenous people.

Specifically, the name designates a collection of huge rocks, rounded and reddish tint, located in Tennant Creek region of the Northern Territory of Australia. It is made of granite rocks of volcanic origin, eroded over time in the form and faction is today. Wind, water, temperature and sunlight, all conspire to erosion and occasionally even split massive ovoid underlying individually or in groups over the huge stones vai.Unele diameters up to seven meters and all are older than about 1.7 billion years. Devil Jewel Reserve covers an area of 1,828 hectares.

Part of Inge volcanic steam on the inside of furnaces, rising them and increasing them. If the Antarctic ice towers seem detached from this world, well, the comparison is very hit because similar structures exist on the moons of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. Of course, those were not penguins or something like them to survive while attending fantastic show.

Meet Boriska , the boy that has stunned scientists

Unusual story of a Russian boy named Boris , attracted worldwide attention several years ago. Born on January 11, 1996 in the city of Volzhsky , has stunned parents at birth . His mother, Nadezhda Kipriyanovich , a dermatologist in a public clinic and the boy’s father , a retired officer , was surprised to find that their family had come a little boy who was not like everyone else.

His mother tells about the birth of the boy : ” It all happened so fast I did not even feel any pain. When they showed me the baby , he looked at me with a look of adult. As a physician , I knew that babies can not concentrate looks on . Nevertheless, my little baby looked at me with big brown eyes . ”

When he returned from the hospital with him , she began to notice things very curious child . The boy , whom the mother named Boris , hardly ever cried not . The child uttered the first word when she was four months , and began to pronounce simple words soon afterwards. Eight months already spoke in sentences and a year and a half he had no difficulty reading the headlines . At two years old he began to draw and learn how to paint six months later . When he turned two , he started to go to a local nursery and guardians immediately noticed that the boy had a brilliant intelligence , language skills and unique memory .

” I had a very strange feeling that I was , for him, strangers that try to establish contact ,” said the boy’s mother , according to Project Camelot.

When Boris , or Boriska as parents spoiled him , turned three began to speak to his parents about the universe .

“He could name all the planets of the solar system , even their satellites , name and number of galaxies . Was very scary at first , I thought my son was out of control , but then I decided to check if the name exists true. I took some books on astronomy and I was shocked to learn that the boy knew so much about this science , ” Nadezhda told .

Rumors astronomer child were quickly spread throughout the city, and the boy became a local celebrity . Many were curious to know how he could know so much this child . Boriska wanted to tell guests about extraterrestrial civilizations , about the existence of a prehistoric race of people three feet tall , and about future climate changes worldwide.

At one point , Boriska started telling people of their sins . He went from someone on the street and told him to quit drugs or told them not to adult men cheating on their wives , etc. .

Nadezhda noticed later that her son was feeling sick prior to the disaster . “When the Kursk submarine sank , he had pain everywhere. He suffered during the hostage-taking in Beslan , refused to go to school on days that horrible attack ,” said the boy’s mother .

When asked about his feelings today Beslan crisis , Boris told : “It was like a flame burning inside me , I knew that the story in Beslan would have a horrible end .”

Boriska attracted the attention of Russian scientists and specialists from the Institute of Earth Magnetism and Radio waves of the Russian Academy of Sciences went and examined the boy aura that turned out to be unusually strong .

Professor Vladislav Lugovenko say that there are some special devices that can measure some extrasensory abilities of humans. Modern scientists worldwide work performed extensive research in this area is not so easy to decipher as research everything from the human body . Moreover , people who possess unique abilities were born on all continents of the world , says the scientist. Such children are called ” indigo children ” by researchers , he added .

” Boriska is one of them. Many have amended DNA spirals , which give an incredibly strong immune system , and can even defeat AIDS. I met such children in China , India , Vietnam and so on ,” said Vladislav Lugovenko .

” When we presented our boy several scientists from different fields, including ufologists , astronomers and historians, all agreed that it would be impossible for him to invent all these stories. Boriska languages and scientific terms used , which he said are usually used by specialists studying this or that particular science , “said the mother of Boris .

In different cultures to all discussed the immortality of the soul , and Boriska seems to confirm this theory. The boy claims that live forever and remembers scenes and events of his life passed from Mars . Experts have said that he has information that would not really know where to .

The boy knew all about life on Mars, about its inhabitants and their flights to earth, Martian civilization about megalithic cities , their spaceships and flights to various planets them , or the Lemurian civilization , who knew many details that had happened to descend there from Mars . Information about prehistory are often rejected by some researchers , despite age relics dating back as far as Darwin ‘s theory remains unable to explain existence .

A Russian journalist spoke to the boy about his unique knowledge and experience .

Boriska , you really live on Mars as they say here?

Yes , it is true . I remember that time I was 14 or 15 years. The Martians were waging wars so I often attended the air raids with a friend of mine . I could travel in time and space flying in round spaceships , but we see life on Earth on triangular aircrafts . Martian spaceships are very complicated . They are on layers.

Is there life on Mars now?

Yes there is , but the planet lost its atmosphere many years ago as a result of a global catastrophe . But Martian people still live there, underground. They breathe carbon dioxide.

How do the Martians ?

Oh they are very tall, taller than seven meters . They possess incredible qualities .

It seems that the Martians inspired gas, but here , once you have this body needs to breathe oxygen . Martians dislike air on Earth because it causes aging . Martians are all relatively young , about 30-35 years , says the boy .

Boriska spoke in more detail about UFOs : “We took off and landed on Earth almost instantly ! . ‘s Composed of layers . 25 % – outer layer , made of durable metal , 30 % – second layer made of something similar to rubber, the third 30 % – metal back . at the final 4 % is composed of a special magnetic layer . If you charge this magnetic layer with energy , those machines will be able to fly anywhere in the universe . ”

Boriska told that when traveling often enough to Earth to make trade and other research purposes. It was in the days of the Lemurian civilization . Moreover , the boy says he had a Lemurian friend who had been killed right before his eyes .

” A major disaster occurred on Earth. A gigantic continent was engulfed in rough waters . Then suddenly , a massive rock fell on my friend who was there. I could not save . We are destined to meet at some point in this life , “recalls Boriska .

The boy envisions the entire picture of the fall of Lemuria as though it happened yesterday. Lemuria disappeared some tens of thousands of years and it seems that the Lemurians were 9 meters tall .

The boy spoke about human disease .

“Sickness comes from people’s inability to live properly and be happy. Cosmic You have to wait half . A man should not get involved and entangled in other people’s destinies . People should not suffer because of mistakes past, but to understand what it is predestined and try to reach those heights and make steps towards fulfilling their dreams. should be more sensitive and kind-hearted . If someone strikes you, hug your enemy , requires say sorry and kneel before him . If someone hates you love him with all your love and devotion and ask for forgiveness. these are the rules of love and humbleness . know why the Lemurians died ? they did not want to longer develop spiritually , and thus broke the unity of their planet . they have strayed from the path ordained , thus destroying the integrity of the planet. route magic lead to a dead end. Love is true magic! ”

Boris ‘s mother explained that no one ever taught these things . ” Sometimes he sat in the lotus position and start telling us detailed facts about Mars , planetary systems and other civilizations , which really puzzled us . How can a boy know these things? ” She asks .

To Understand What’s Really Happening in Ukraine, Follow the Gas Lines on This Map

Shocking no one, Russia’s top natural gas producer, Gazprom, announced last Tuesday that it will cancel a discount on the price it charges for gas in Ukraine.

The bargain, a sweet 30% off the price of gas, was a bid by Moscow to deter Ukraine from accepting a trade deal with the EU.

“This is not linked to politics or anything,” Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters on Tuesday, regarding the discount cancellation.

The ongoing Ukraine crisis is often cast as a battle of values, East versus West. But another way of looking at things is to follow the old gas lines.

In a nutshell:

Ukraine would freeze without Russia.

Some 60% of Ukraine’s consumed gas comes from Russia. Over the years this reliance has given rise to a so-called gas “mafia” in Kyiv. Ukrainian oligarchs, working closely with Russian suppliers, have taken advantage of the dependency. It is widely believe that these elites siphon money from state coffers and actively prevent Ukraine from developing a sustainable energy sector. All the while, foreign investors are scared away.

Similarly, Russian energy supplies help Moscow to keep a firm grip on other former Soviet states like Moldova and Georgia.  In September Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin threatened to cut off Moldova’s gas supply during the winter if the country continued on its pro-EU economic course. “We hope,” said Rogozin to Moldavians, “that you will not freeze.”

Europe is hooked too.

Russia supplies, but Ukraine is the middleman. This helps to explain why some European states (like Germany) have been cagey about imposing sanctions on Russia. Germany and Ukraine are Gazprom’s biggest foreign purchasers.

Russia is Europe’s largest natural gas supplier, supplying about one-third of the continent’s natural gas, more than half of which travels through Ukraine. Important pipelines pass through Ukraine to Slovakia, and then on to Germany, Italy and Austria.

So, what would happen if Russia switched off the Ukrainian pipes? Actually it has done just that twice over the last decade, in 2006 and again in 2009, amid pricing disputes between Kyiv and Moscow. The result: gas shortages in several European countries.

Already Europe is working to wean itself off Russian supplies. Ukraine’s woes might help to speed up that process.

It’s a two-way street.

Russia needs Europe too. Oil and gas trade accounts for half of Russia’s annual export revenue and more than half of Russia’s federal budget.

Important to note is that many of Russia’s important gas pipelines go through Western Ukraine, which is decidedly pro-Europe.

“I would argue that Russia has more to lose than Europe at the moment,” says Tim Boersma of the Brookings Institution. “Russia needs European demands. It is making roughly $100 million a day from hydrocarbons.

What about America?

Washington is making moves. The U.S. doesn’t export natural gas yet. But congressional Republicans especially are calling to loosen U.S. export restrictions, with the idea that if Washington puts more gas on the market, it can (economically) cut Russia down to size.

The U.S. Department of Energy is issuing permits to American corporations that will let them start exporting gas in 2015.

Fun fact: Who is now leading the U.S. State Department’s new Bureau of Energy Resources? It’s Carlos Pascual, former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.

So what about that new global order?

In recent weeks Eurasia experts and political hacks have been talking big about a new global energy order inspired by events in Ukraine.

Chaos in Ukraine, goes this logic, will threaten natural gas supplies and push Europe to look for non-Russian gas sources.

It’s already happening. U.S. energy behemoth Halliburton Co. will soon start fracking in Poland. Royal Dutch Shell will start hunting for natural gas in Ukraine next year.

In fact, Europe is already way less energy-dependent on Russia than it was in 2009, the last time Moscow switched off the Ukrainian pipelines. Germany, for instance, has found alternative energy sources in Norway and Algeria.

2009 was a turning point. And 2014 could be Russia’s biggest mistake yet.

Father Arsenie Boca – testimonials and natural treatments

I was with Father Arsenie and I asked: What do Father, that is very bad now.” Father says, “will come worse”. I say if all are poisoned. No we do not come to eat. ““I, make the sign of the cross and all you eat: water, tea, coffee, cake, fruit, drink, food, bread. The would have even poison, Holy Cross cancels all poisoned. “(Matron Mary, Sibiu)

A woman had gallstones and father went to Arsenal.
He was scheduled for surgery since the father said ” I , do not go to any surgery , you do what I tell you . When you go home you can go to buy and make your tea with orange peel deer tongue , but unsweetened . drink it for several months, 2-3 months , drink it instead of water and then go check. ”
Tea it crushes stones and turn them into sand. A localized gall stone can not remove broken and this tea than crush naturally. Try all who have problems with bile and see how they feel.

Father knew medicine and often telling us that ” sweat ” because the kidneys are not working well . He said that my hair falls , and he gave us remedies that hair must feed and told us to make egg yolk and castor oil to wash the head and rinse it with vinegar . He always gave us solutions to health problems.

Another time came a sick lungs and Father said to him knead with honey horseradish , saying that “He who made heaven and earth is able to stick broken skin .”

Who narrow-minded , has no cure anywhere.
If you prevent a cold by drugs make into other dangers. Let usual stages of the disease it’s the best cure for it ( the disease) . Dodging cold enough.
Like all things of a man resembling their master .

Father had gone to a woman in Fagaras ( Mrs. Burlea ) old enough who have eye problems (cataracts ), but came before him, she forgot what came to him. Father asks : ” What ‘s shakin ‘ my woman? ” And she replied : ” Well, Father , I have come so that you see ” . Father asks : “Have you come for this, myself ! You did not come to eyes . ” Old lady replied : “Oh Father, forgive me , but really what I came to Holiness .” Father Arsenie says : “I , and what did the doctors say ? Let’s go and get surgery . Right? ” . ” Yes , Father .” ” Me, says Father , do not go to surgery, he’ll stay blind. Do what I tell you . Spring, put a bottle in vines, and collect the sap that glass pipette to take a few drops and put your eyes and you ‘ll never need surgery . ” After a while I met with the woman and really was not needed surgery for cataracts that had passed sap from the vine , and his father said .

Father once said: ” When I click” Phone ” to insist that wine” mobile “in several parts and do not know where it comes from ” phone ” ” . But it was not the phone itself. If you were thinking about Father , Father felt that someone help. ( Ierod. Jerome Coldea ) .

When I was a kid I lived in Lisa , not far from the monastery Brancovan . I was 10 siblings ( 5 boys and 5 girls). I had Andreias maiden name . I was 13 when my eldest sister , Helen, aged 23 , was suffering from eye ( an aching eyes , and tears ran down his lower order ) . It is going to go to Bucharest for surgery. But on a Sunday , as the monastery , Father Arsenie church came and cried ( it was a lot of people ) : ” Leana from Lisa , come here .” When he approached told him: ” You ‘re sick eyes. Do not go to the doctor to do surgery in Bucharest . ” Brought holy water ” with it to wash your eyes.” So did the disease and passed away. Since then he always went to the monastery and took us and us sisters . So I got to go and I every Sunday. ( Balan Forestry – Fagaras )

A 13 year old girl , bush , in a village in Transylvania , stayed a week at the monastery . Father Arsenie prayed over the girl , she was placed on a chair in front of the altar . Father asked her : Do you believe in Jesus Christ , God the Father , the Mother of God ? She said I heartily . Just asked and the girl’s parents who responded that they believe . Girl’s father said : If you do , get up and go ! She said she can not. Then Father said again : If you believe in Jesus Christ , rise up and come to me ! Then the little girl stood up on her feet , helped, and went to Father Arsenie . Father told him that as long as you live in the world not to go to amusement , balls , dances and to entrust to God . But after two years , 15 years, being nice , went to a ball , and so soon the girl died .

Father Arsenie advising us that when we have a problem to say the Lord’s Prayer 9 times .
our Father
In heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom
Thy will be done
As in heaven and on earth
Our daily bread every day
Give us this today
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom
Power and Glory
In the Name of the Father
The Holy Spirit
Amen .

He often advised to say the above prayer ( Our Father ) and mental prayer – “Lord Jesus Christ , Son of God, have mercy on me on me … ( name) ” .

These two prayers can be easily retained and can be said at any time, at home , on the street, on the road, etc. . Saying this prayer silently or aloud began to feel , start to miss when you look different reasons to tell them .
